About Annie Planek

Things did not go as planned this past year for the 2020 Chicago Marathon so I have decided to try for the 2021 Chicago Marathon. I will be running this marathon to raise money for Opportunity Knocks. Opportunity Knocks is dedicated to enriching life and community. Opportunity Knocks supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they live, work, learn, grow and connect within their community. As a teacher who works to develop an inclusive community within the walls of my classroom, Opportunity Knocks helps create inclusivity and opportunities to individuals in the community I have lived in my whole life.
